Painted in the mind's eye

Erin fell asleep on the chair. Not to long after Eden and Chad came in. Eden saw Erin and used her air to carry a blanket to him.

It wasn't long till Vannai woke up, her eyes opened slowly before sitting up and rubbing them. Vannai didn't feel all too good but at less she was safe and warm.

Erin was still asleep in the chair, Eden was quickly walking over to the girl, she was still as gracefull as she was earlier though, "i see you're awake." she said. her voice sounded like bells in the wind

Vannai jumped, she didn't noticed the lady in the room, "W-Who are you? Where am I?" Vannai said, a bit scared since she had just woken up in a strange house.

"i am Eden, and you are in my house. Erin and Chad saved you a brought you here so you could recover, you are safe here." she said a light smile graced her pale features.

Vannai looked over to Erin sleeping in the chair, "I remember him, he pulled me out of the water...twice."

"that is Erin." Eden said, "he is the brother of my fiancee." she smiled over at Erin.

"Oh...congrads." Vannai said with a weak smile on her face, looking over to Eden.

Eden smiled back, "thank you." her white hair seemed almost to float as if she were in water. "would you like anything to eat or drink?" she asked.

"Can I have some water...my throat feels a bit sore..." Vannai asked, still smiling at Eden.

"of course." Eden turned to the kitchen which was conected to the living room and used the air to pour her a glass of water and it floated into Vannai's hands.

Vannai drank the water, it hurt a bit going down her throat, "Thank you..." she still felt tired.

"you should sleep more child you will feel better if you do." Eden said. Chad walked into the room and saw the girls and din't say anything.

Vannai nodded then looked to Chad, "I am safe to assume your Chad?" she asked then smiled, "Thank you for saving me."

"no problem." he said. Eden looked back to Chad with a smile and gestured him to her. "Take your brother to the guest room." she said, and Chad did as he was told

Vannai looked out of the window, it was snowing outside, "My father must be worried about me..." she said to herself.

"i can take you home if you wish." Eden said, smiling at the younger girl

"But its getting dark and i live in town, its rather far. Won't Chad be worried?" Vannai asked, blinking.

Eden giggled, "he knows better and besides i can get there quicker my way than you could walking."

What is that suppose to mean? Vannai wondered, "Alright...I just hope I get home before its dark."

Eden smiled, "you will." she replied and the gestured for the girl to follow her, and walked out the front door.

Vannai flung the sheets aside then followed Eden, wondering what she meant still.

When Eden got outside she closed her eyes and let the air currents push her into the air. She looked as though she were flying and turned her body to face Vannai's and did the same to her. "now which way do you live?" she asked.

Vannai squeaked, "Y-Your flying!" Vannai said surprised. Unlike other people, Vannai was kept away from the Guardian World...after all, it was what killed her mother...

Eden giggled, "yes. not many people can do this. being inhuman has it's perks." she mumbled the last part.
