The Leader of the Shadow Theifs

No one knew where Jack had went and he didn't want anyone to know. Jack was dressed differently, he was wearing a black tunic, black pants, black boots and a black clock with the hood pulled up to shadow his face, all you could see was his vibrant green eyes. He wore mask that covered his mouth and nose. He had packed lightly, very lightly, he had his Sanjin Darka (Death Dagger: a dagger with a silver blade and a silver, emerald eyed dragon on the hilt) and several other daggers. He was going to Nervanah to see the Leader of the Shadow Thieves, an organization Jack joined when he ran away from his father.

Katie was taking wood out and starting a fire. As she stood up she spotted a figure out in the distance and watched the figure carefuly.

Jack stopped and saw Katie and smirked, he wondered if she knew it was him but he started to walk towards her anyways.

She got nervous and grabbed ahold of her sword but didnt take out.

"Well well..." He said smoothly and calm, "Who do we have here?" He had his hands in his pockets, he figured he'd have a bit of fun letting Katie not know who he was for a while.

"i should be asking you the same" she said taking a step back

Jack disappeared then reappeared behind Katie and whispered in her ear, "May I guess your name?"

She took her sword out and put it to his throat and said "Yes"

"Katie Maines." He chuckled and shot the sword out of her hands which flew far away, "Now why are you here?"

"how do you know my name?" she asked

"How shouldn't I know your name....or your fiance's name, Ryo." He said as he chuckled.

Katie looked at him "How do you know?" she asked

His vibrant green eyes danced with laughter, "How could I not know, I have seen you many times before."

With quick motion katie took off his hood and said "hi jack"

"Well at less you are getting quicker." He said as he smiled, "But you must try and remember someones voice."

"Just making sure" she said "but now i want my sword back"

Jack snapped his fingers and her sword appeared in his hands in a puff of smoke, "Here, what are doing out here?"

"i need some time to think" she said "plus i just like being out here"

"Odd thing..." he said then pulled his hood back on, "I best get going."

"Wait, where are you going?" she asked looking innoccent

Jack looked at her for a while, "Nothing..." then started to walk away again. He couldn't tell her or he would get in trouble.

Katie ran up to him and turned him around "Please take me with you" she asked

"I can't" he said, a little shocked that she did that.

"Why not?" she asked

"Cause they might kill me." Jack said as he shrugged.
