"Who's they?" she asked

Jack transported away, he didn't want to drag Katie into want he was doing.

Katie walked back to the camp fire and sat down and wonderend what he was up to.

Mist...a sudden cloud of mist surrounded Katie.

Katie jummped up and took out her sword and dagger

2 man dressed the same as Jack was appeared and threw daggers at her then disappeared.

Katie blocked both of them and started running

The 2 appeared in front of her and both kicked at her then disappeared again.

Katie called out "who are you?"

"Since we are going to kill you, we are Shadow Thiefs." they said in the mist.

She closed her eyes and stood still lowering her guard "ok kill me then" she said with a smile

Just as they sent needles to her chest, a wall of shadow covered her, "Brothers." said jack, "It is alright, she is a friend."

"Thanks you" she said brushing herself off

"Do you know him?" one asked.

"mabye, who wants to know?" she asked

"Tell us or we will kill you." They said.

"yes i know him" she said

"Then what is his name." Jack looked in a panic at that but the other 2 were too busy with Katie. (They will kill Jack if u do)

"His name is of no importance right now. i do belive the question is why did you attack me?" she said

One suddenly was holding a knife to Katie's back and he held her hands behind her. Jack just stood there, "If you know his name then tell us."

"jack" she said

"Then by the Order of the Shadow Thieves, Jack is here by-" one said but then Jack held up his hand, "I have an idea, she can join."

Katie mummbled to herself "uh-oh"

"I heard that." Jack said in her mind, "She can control darkness and she was a thief." Jack said as he looked at the 2, "Also you know you can only kick me out, by Guardian Law, you can't kill me."

"Ok so what now?" she said and fixed her shirt
