The pain of the past to unlock the future

"Whatever..." he said and walked to beside Reika then sat down, "So what's your name?" he asked as he looked over to her. You couldn't see his face but you could see his eyes, they looked like Jeramey's.

"Reika...." she said softly, "who are you?" she asked

"I am Kyōdai No Kizuna." Kyodai said in a grumpy voice then sighed, "Sorry..."

(Kyōdai no kizuna means "Bond of a Brother" in Japanese)

"don't say that!" she exclaimed. "please don't.....you sound to much like him and.....that was the last thing.....he....he said....to me......" Reika said softly

Kyodai blinked, "eh? You knew my brother?" he said, a bit interested and a bit shocked with a hint of sorrow.

Reika's head snapped to him, "your....his brother......." she said softly. "that would explain why you sound so much like him......" she said softly

"Yeah, I am...some brother I am though..." Kyodai growled as he stared at the tombstone.

"it's my fault he's gone...." she replied softly. "it's all my fault....." she whispered

"You shouldn't blame yourself, Jeramey always done what he thought was best..." Kyodai said.

"and he was trying to protect me....so it's my fault...." she said

Kyodai sighed then pulled down his hood and turned to look at her, "Look, you couldn't change Jeramey's mind at all and you shouldn't beat yourself over it...it's just not healthy."

Reika stood quickly, "i don't need to be told what i should and shouldn't do...." she said then trned and walked back to her house

Kyodai growled at her then turned to his brother's grave stone and sighed...he missed him.

she clutched the sun necklace so hard her hand started bleeding

Kyodai looked back over to her and saw her hand, "What the hell are you doing?" He said as he stood up.

"nothing..." she mumbled and continued walking to her home,

Kyodai caught up to her and stopped her by grabbing her wrist, "You call this nothing? What are you going to do, start fights for no reason? Jeramey wouldn't have wanted that." Kyodai said then sighed, "Sorry..." then quickly looked up to her, remember she got upset when he had said sorry before cause it was the last thing Jeramey said to her, "sorry....damn it, sorry!...AH FUCK!"

"i wasn't going to cause meaningless fights i was going home!! so just leave me the hell alone!!!" she screamed as tears threated to escape from her eyes

"Look...I'm sorry I am getting mad at you...I'm just..." Kyodai said and let go of her.

"you just what?" she asked harshly

"My little brother is dead and I wasn't there for him!...I feel like crap!" Kyodai said as he glared at her.

"well i do to damn it!!! if i had just ignored him!! fuck!" she screamed, tears silently falling

Kyodai looked at Reika then looked down, "I didn't mean to yell at you..."

"well to fucking late." she mutter then turned on her heel and walked back to her house.

Kyodai watched her leave then sighed and went back to Jeramey's grave, "I'm sorry brother..."
