The pain of the past to unlock the future

Jeramey nodded as he looked down.

(Err I am on only till the turkey is done cooking, it wasn't quite done yet sorry...tell Makai that too)

"stop blamming yourself before i slap you." she ordered him

Jeramey looked up at Reika, a bit shocked at what she said bit yet, still nodded, "Alright...sorry."

Reika smiled, "now let's go!" she said smiling

Jeramey smiled back and nodded, "And we best hurry."

she nodded and began running again

Jeramey ran too, "Do you know any place outside of town?"

"course i have a home in almost every main town." she told him

"Good...I will sleep tonight but then I have to leave." Jeramey said.

"after what just happened hell no." she declaired

"You don't have much say..." Jeramey mumbled under his breath.

Reika tensed before slapping him. she had heard what he said and was down right pissed off.

Jeramey blinked as his cheek started to redden, "You, Reika, will never understand...there is no point in trying to change my mind!"

reika held in tears, "fine leave then! see if i care you bastard!!"

Jeramey blinked in surprise, "Why do you even care about me?"

"why the fuck does it matter to you!?" she questioned she was down right pissed she was trying to help him and he was being a jackass

Jeramey glared at her, "I can take care of myself! I don't need you to pester me!" He was mad that she didn't understand why he was going to leave, if he had to be an ass about it then fine.

"Fine then!! get the hell out of my life!!!" she scream. a single tear ell fom her face ans she pushed him aside and ran to her house in the neighboring town

Jeramey felt bad, really bad about what he said but if he had to to make sure she was safe then so be it. Jeramey then began to walk away.

Reika pulled out a key and unlocked the door to her home quietly. the inside of the house was cold and alone.

Jeramey walked across the hot sands, away from any kind of life. His mind was more on what he had done and said to Reika, he felt so bad about it.

Reika went to her room and dusted the bed and shelfs off

Jeramey stopped to caught his breath, his mouth was dry even though it was night time...what time was it anyways? He suddenly felt the ground shaking, was it an Armored Worm? It wasn't cause instead of teeth, it was a hand. "WHat the-" was all he said before it pulled him down into the sands.

(time skip! a few days)

Reika hadn't heard or seen Jeramy since that day.

The sun slowly started to rise and in the distance, someone was coming. (Not him)
