The pain of the past to unlock the future

"I think you need to leave now." Yunho said, Kyodai looked to him then to Reika, "Fine...but if I see you at his grave again, I'm going to kick your ass!" then stormed out. Yunho walked over to reika, the room was dead silent, "Maybe you should go home, reika..."

she nodded standing up sliently and wwalking out of the bar and the only place she wanted to go was Jeramey's grave. she didn't care about Kyodai's threat.

It started to rain down as lightning and thunder was seen and heard in the sky, it was dark out but the moon lit the night, just enough to see.

Reika sat at his gravve silently "im so sorry.....you shouldn't have done this.....i should have been the one to die when we first met....." she whispered

"Reika..." sounded a whisper then something glowed from behind her and a hand reached out to touch her shoulder...it was Jeramey, "Don't blame yourself, I chose to die for you, to keep you safe. I should be the one to say sorry to you for trying to kill you the 1st we met."

Reika quickly turned to look at him, "no....how are you.....what's going on...." she whispered tearing up at seeing him again

"I'm an earth bound spirit...I couldn't leave you yet." Jeramey said and knelt infront of her, "I miss you so much, Reika..."

"i miss you too...." she whispered, her voice pained, "you shouldn't have died....." she whispered

Jeramey put a hand to her cheek, "I know you think that...Reika...I love you so much..."

Reika blushed, "y-you l-love me?" she questioned not believeing any of this was real

"I do and I really wanted to say that before I..." Jeramey looked down then back to her, "I do...I do with all my heart..."

"i....i love you too....." she whispered clutching onto the sun he had given her

Jeramey grasped the sun pendent too with her hand, "And i always will..."

Reika smiled at him softly, "i wish you were still alive....." she whispered softly

"I wish I was too...I really do..." A ghosty tear fell from Jeramey's eye, "But Reika, please do one thing for me...please."

"what is it? i'll do anything." she said softly

"Please keep my brother safe...I am worried about him, he hasn't been this upset since our parents died and I am worried he is going to do something stupid...like I did..." Jeramey said as he held onto her hand.

''he hates me.....but i'll do it for you. i promise." she said softly

"He doesn't hate you, Kyodai sometimes just speaks before he thinks..." Jeramey said with a small smile.

Reika smiled at him and wiped away her dry tears with her sleeve with her free hand.

Jeramey leaned over and softly kissed her on the lips. Even though he was a ghost, she would still feel it.

Reika blushed softly wishing she could kiss him back

Jeramey broke the kiss then looked to the sky, "It looks like it going to get worse...you should go home..."

"i don't wamt to...." she whispered.

"Please, I don't want you to get sick." Jeramey said as he frowned.
