Nick didn't listen. He strode to the door and kicked it open, "If I see or hear that you have been harassing James from anyone, I will lock you both in the cellar, hanging upside down by your feet. DO I make myself clear?" Nick said in a stern matter, arms folded over his chest.

the boys quickly freaked and ran off down the hall. Fox sighed at her brothers antics, but didn't say anything again to Nick she knew he wasn't going to listen. that hurt her harshly.

Nick breathed out then turned to Fox, "I am sorry Fox but I can't stand people making threats to others." He said as he rubbed his neck and frowned, "I didn't mean to be harsh..."

Fox smiled sadly,"they had it comin'" she responded trying to be normal, "well i better get back to work." she said and started ti leave the room.

Nick nodded and sighed, he watched Fox leave, "James...just because I stood up for you...doesn't mean I would rip your head off if you hurt Fox..." James went a bit pale, "I think I know..."

Fox went to her room and decided to get some rest, she hadn't slept well the night before so she needed the rest.

Nick had went to his office to get back to work, James was in the infirmary. The day soon turned to night and all was quiet.

Fox stayed asleep all day and night, unknown to her, she had a a fever and that was what was keeping her asleep.

Nick suddenly awoke, he must of dozed off. It was about mid-day and Fox would of woken him up by now...something was off. "Hmm..." he got up and went to the cellar, she didn't report in. Nick then checked the infirmary, she wasn't even there. "What's wrong, old man?" James asked, looking up from his bed. "Have you seen Fox?" But he shook his head, "Maybe she is a sleep in her room...." James got out of bed. "Hmm...this isn't right..." He mumbled and quickly strode to Fox's room. "Fox? You in there?" He said, knocking on the door.

Fox groaned rolling over, still asleep. he face was red from heat. her door wasn't locked she forgot to lock it when she had entered

Nick opened the door, his eyes widened slightly when he saw how Fox was, "Fox, wake up!" He said as he quickly went over to her, he placed a hand over her forehead, "Shit!" James peeked in, "Hey, whats going on?" Nick picked up Fox, "She has a fever, I told her not to over work herself." James moved as Nick strode quickly over to the infirmary.

Fox groaned in her sleep and uncounciously struggled against Nick, trying to push herself out of his arms, trying to get away from the excess heat.

Nick put Fox in one of the beds, a healer came over, "Why is she sick?" Nick asked, his face as hard as steel. "Please, Captain, wait outside." Nick blinked, "But-" The healer turned around and placed her hands on her hips. Nick growled and stormed out of the room, James too went outside with him.

Fox whimpered lightly her temperature seemed to spike higher, for some reason. she had obviously over worked her self and then yorried herself sick.

The healer checked Fox over then dressed her in something more light then what she was wearing. Nick was sitting on a chair outside when the healer came out, Nick quickly stood up, "How is she? Is she going to be ok?" Nick was obviously worried. "Yes but she needs to rest. She over worked herself again." Nick looked down. James came over, "If we may but can we see her?" The healer nodded and lead them inside.

Fox was sweating like crazy, her long blonde hair was let loose from it's usual braid and clung to her skin. her face was still very red as she continued to sleep. small whimpers would escape her lips every so often.

Nick walked over to Fox and sat down in a chair beside her bed, "I am so sorry..." He said as he moved some hair out of her face.

even though Fox wasn't awake, Nick should know better than to blame himself for her stupidity. she shivered when his cool fingers touched her skin, to him it probably felt like she was on fire.

"Would you be able to heal her, James?" Nick asked as he turned around to him but the pirate shook his head, "I can only do physical injuries...sorry." Nick sighed, "She will be fine in a few days."
"And if not? What then?" James shrugged his shoulders.

suddenly her brothers popped up beside James and Nick, Regulus next to Nick and Teddy next to James, "wow, she's pretty bad this time" Regulus said, to which Teddy nodded, "she gets like this far to often for her own good." he said.

"I thought I told you both to leave?" Nick said but James shook his head, "No you told them not to kill me..."

"yeah so blehh" Regulus stuck his tongue out at Nick, and Teddy cringed hoping Regulus wasn't going to get hurt. "i hope big sis gets better soon." the middle sibling said softly.

Nick reached up behind Regulus's head and smacked it hard enough so the boy would bite his own tongue, "Don't do that again..." Now wasn't the time.

"OW OW OW OW!" Regulus yelped petting his tongue. Teddy giggled at his younger brother and placed a hand on his sister's forehead. "Aiya she's burning." he said reeling his hand back.

"We need to get her to Alice." Nick finally said as he stood up, "but I don't want to transport her and it would be too foolish to sail her to the Tower...." They needed someone to get Alice here.
