Journey for life and death

Hollie rippped her gaze from the murky content below and nodded walking over to Brianne

"It will be ok, this was to be expected as with many other things." Brianne said as she smiled at her.

Hollie nodded

When they reached the camp site, Jack's eyes were opened but he didn't say anything, hell he didn't even blink.

Hollie had a deadly stare on her face, as she stared at nothing

"Can you make him stop sleeping with his eyes open..." Brianne said as she frowned, "It is major creepy."

Hollie looked over at jack her expression not changing then she sat down turning away again.

ALice giggled a bit as she closed his eyes, "He does it cause he knows it bugs you." she said. "Still..." Brianne then looked at Hollie, "Something bothering you?"

Hollie shook her head, but that dip in the water affected her, not much but it still changed her slightly

"She is lying..." Jack mumbled as he started to wake up.

"why would i lie." she said her voice more deep and smooth than before

"I can read your mind..." Jack mumbled. "Jack, try and go to sleep. You haven't slept since we got here." Alice said.

"yes sleep jack you need your rest." she said.

"I am fine...just drowsy..." Jack said then blinked a few times. "That is the Aspin Berry kicking in." ALice said as she moved some of Jack's hair out of his eyes. "No wonder I can't move yet..."

Hollie turned and stared back out her stare darkened

"We all need sleep." Alex said then looked at Scarlet who was still asleep, "Al less she is a heavy sleeper."

Hollie ignored Alex and continued staring.

Brianne knew hollie wasn't going to sleep so she didn't press the matter, soon after, everyone, even Jack, fell asleep.

Hollie turned to the others after they had fallen asleep and glared, the water was affecting her moret han she thought it would.

In the morning...

Jack, as always, was the 1st one ready. His leg was itchy like hell but he didn't dare try and scratch at it.

Hollie was turned around after jack woke up.

"Morning sunshine." He said as he smiled, like nothing happened last night.

Hollie turned her head to him, "morning." her voice was darker

Jack frowned, "Oh come now, you can't tell me something isn't wrong." He said as he swung his pack over his shoulder then sat next to her, "Tell me what is eating you."
