Journey for life and death

Jack poked her forehead, "Now now, I can tell if you are lying." (Might as well tell him the truth, he will never stop)

"why should i tell a mere human what troubles me." she said, uncharactically rude.

"Who says I am human?" Jack said as he shrugged. (He is human...just not a normal human)

Hollie ignored him.

Jack looked at the mucky water, "Well the others won't be up for a while...how about I tell you the rest of the story from last night?" Jack said as he fiddled with his sleeve. (He was at the part when they meet at the Dance)

why not." she said.

Jack smiled and cleared his throat, "Alright so I was at the part about the Ball....There she stood, in a beautiful black gown. Her lovely curly orange hair was pinned up to show her lovely face." Jack said as he sighed, "Jade (suppose to be him but she is not suppose to know that the story is real) smiled as he saw her and bowed, "You look lovely, my lady." and she smiled at the young fool, "Thank you, you don't look bad yourself." He held out a hand to her and asked, "May I have this dance?" and she placed her hand in his. They danced to the music, laughing, talking, as the night moved on. Soon the were on the balcony, looking at the stars, "Thank you." said Heather, "For this lovely night." Jade smiled at her, "It is I who should take you...Heather, I have fallen for you..." She looked at him, shocked but happy and then...they kissed." Jack said, he heard the others starting to wake up, "From that day on, he kissed no other then her cause for the 1st time ever, he was for really in love."

Hollie gave a soft smile, "ah i wish something like that would happen to me....but water sprites don't fall in love..." she mumbled the last part.

"Everyone can fall in love if they find the right person." Jack said as he smiled.

"problem it's hard for us, even if we do find love we can't keep it." she said.

Jack shrugged, "Sometimes....something is better then nothing." Jack stood up and stretched, his leg was starting to bother him already.

Hollie sighed and pulled her knees to her chest,

Scarlet ran over to Jack and hugged him, "Oh Jack! I am sorry what happened last night!" she said, it sorta surprised him.

Hollie turned her head and watched the two

"It's ok Scarlet." Jack said patting her back then pulling free of her, "Just get ready and we will be off." Scarlet nodded and left. Jack sighed, "Oh cuz..." he mumbled.

Hollie stood after watching the two. she just did as she did before, it woud be awhile till the effects of the water would wear off.

Soon they were off again, it was very very hot and humid in the swamp.

Hollie for once was thankful she always wore light clothing

"Jack you ok?" Alice asked, a little worried. Jack smiled at her, "Oh you always worry. I am fine."

"she has a right to worry you get yourself in stupid situations alot." Hollie said walking over to the two

"That's Jack for you." Alice sighed. "I am fine." Jack added as he rolled his eyes.

Hollie shook her head

"How much longer till we are out?" Jack said as he looked ahead, "I am boiling here."

Hollie giggled at him softly.

"About a week, maybe less." said Alex up ahead. Brianne nodded, "And it is not that hot."
