Fire and Ice

"Are you alright?" Rowan asked, frowning slightly. "I'm sure it's just dust but you should take a rest, besides, I think it might be stormy tonight..." Skins got up and walked over to Claudia, "Also, get a bath ready for Rowan, he needs it."

Claudia nodded smiling at Rowan, "I'm fine don't worry so much" it would be no where near as bad as the week she had a cold and still did all her chores around the house. she bowed to them and said, "Follow me Rowan i'll lead you to the bathing room" she said with a kind smile.

Rowan bowed and followed Claudia, "I apoligize for the mess I have made while entering your home, Mis. Claudia..."

Claudia giggled slightly, "It's alright, no need to apologize Rowan." she insisted

Rowan half smiled then looked outside, "I think Madam Skins is correct about tonight." Gray clouds were forming in the sky, Rowan narrowed his eyes at them.

Claudia nodded, "Oh well." she said softly as she opened the door to the bathing room. in the middle of the room was a large fancy looking bath tub. she walked up to it and started the water, making sure it would warm up nicely. "I will be right back." she said softly and went to go get him a towel from the hall closet.

Rowan looked at the water then stuck his hand in before stripping downa nd steping into the welcoming water. it felt good.

Claudia, who didn't expect him to already be in the water, opened the door slowly a towel in hand. when she noticed him she blushed and quickly put the towel on the counter and hurried out of the room.

Rowan blinked, he didn't understand why she was so jumpy. After a while, he got out of the bath and dried off. Rowan's clothes were still dirty and he didn't want to get dirty again...so he just walked around looking for Claudia for some new clothes. (in just the towel)

Claudia was in the kitchen cleaning the dishes. she was standing on a small stool to be able to reach the sink (it was very tall) her sleeves were rolled up and her hands were hard at work cleaning all the dishes

Rowan went to the kitchen (towel and all) and looked around for Claudia, "Mis. Claudia, are you in here?"

Claudia heard Rowan walk in, "Yes i'm here." she told and turned to see what he needed. as soon as she did her face turned bright red and she averted her eyes. "w-what is it that you need?"

"I need some new clothes, do you have any?...and why are you go red?" Rowan felt her forehead with a hand, checking if she was ill.

Claudia blushed more and jumped slightly when he touched her. "Um.....Master K-kyo should have something t-that would fit y-you." she told turning from him to hide her blushing face.

"That would be nice." He smiled at her, one hand holding onto the towel and the other just resting to his side.

She nodded, "f-follow me...." she said softly and began walking to Kyo's room. it was a large room, the largest bedroom in the mansion. she walked over to the wardrobe and pulled out a pair of black pants and a white button up shirt. "H-here you go...."

Rowan started to get changed (while you are still there), "They fit finely." He said with a smile.

Claudia's face turned bright red when he started to change and she turned around quickly and hid her blushing face with her hands. "t-that's g-g-good!"

"Are you sure you are alright, your face is even more red." He blinked in a confused way.

"I-i'm sure." she insisted with a dark blush. she smiled slightly as she tried to make her blush go away.

There was an awkward silence, Rowan didn't like it but he didn't know what to say next. He was always told it was polite to be nice to people, so he did what he thought was right, (and he is being honest), "You look very nice today." He said with a smile.

the blush she had just made vanish popped back up, "T-thank you" she said with a small smile. "y-you do too."

"Thank you, Mis. Claudia." Rowan said as he bowed his head....and then came the awkward silence again.

"um will you be staying here tonight as well?" she asked curiously. her voice was soft as she spoke to him

"If you wish for me to then I see no harm in doing so." Rowan said, a bit curious of why she asked.
